Singapore - Twenty-four top people (including the following: ambassadors;
owners, CEO’s, and operational directors of world-renowned hotels; industry
press; and FTA wine partners) assembled for a black-tie evening, at the Pan
Pacific Singapore on 9 April. This was the First Annual Fred Tibbitts &
Associates Spring Evening in Singapore with Special Friends.
The reception was sponsored by Moet-Hennessy Asia, and featured Moet &
Chandon Brut Imperial. Guests were ceremonially announced by a traditional
Chinese Royal Court Mandarin with appropriate gong.
The four-course dinner was preceded by Buddhist and Christian prayers,
followed by a dozen Loyalty Toasts. These toasts were led by the Ambassador of
Chile, His Excellency Juan Martabit. Dinner was prepared by Pan Pacific
Singapore Executive Chef George Hayashi, Italian Cuisine Chef Marco Piggiato,
Banquet Chef Nelson Yip, and Pastry Chef Victor Foo. Each course was paired by
wines, which were personally chosen by Fred Tibbitts, representing labels from
Australia, Chile, and South Africa.
