Grant Hyatt Hong Kong, OCTOBER 18, 2007 Hong Kong S.A.R. – The Seventh Annual Fred Tibbitts & Associates (FTA) “An Autumn Evening in Hong Kong with Very Special Friends” proved a memorable evening for the fortunate seventy guests who attended this annual FTA spectacular.

All Guests at the reception, held at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, were formally introduced and chimed.  The guest list included some of the region’s top, corporate hospitality executives, hotel general managers and VIP’s.  Those present included Kinnie Wong, Assistant Commissioner for Tourism, Hong Kong S.A.R., Steven Hicks, Senior Vice President of Cotai Hotel Operations, Venetian Macau Ltd., Brian Deeson, Senior Vice President,  Accor Asia Pacific, Nigel Roberts, Senior Vice President-Operations, Langham Hotels International, Gregoire Simonin, Group Culinary Project Design Manager, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Rudolf Mueller, Executive Chef, Hong Kong Disneyland, Ambrose W.S. Cheung, Executive Director, The Lai Sun Development Co. Ltd., David Ganesh Sarju, Partner, Gladstone Morgan, Tommy Lam, President, Academy of Wine Singapore and Jesse Yee, Executive Director, KELY (Kids Everywhere Like You).

The elegant four-course dinner, prepared by the culinary team of the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, was preceded by International Loyalty Toasts by eleven of those most illustrious.

Paul Alex White, Senior International Banking Centre Manager for HSBC presented a bank draft in the amount of US $500.00 for the China Tibetan Childrens Health and Education Fund to Stephen Young, Senior Vice President, International Development, Wyndham Worldwide, who was representing Madame Annie S.C. Wu, Honorary Chairperson.

The 2007 FTA Hospitality Award for Excellence as a Humanitarian was presented to Andrew Jones, Guardian, Sanctuary Resorts by Brian Deeson, Chairman, PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association).

Paul Alex White then presented an HSBC bank draft drawn on the account of FTA in the amount of US $5,000.00 as a donation in honor of Andrew Jones to KELY.

Following the Summons of the Brigade, Fred Tibbitts, President & CEO and Joy Taprakhon, Manager Asia Pacific, FTA conducted a Lucky Draw for one bottle of each of the seventeen wines served with the dinner.
